I had said I would talk about what I collect a day or two ago but life happens. I collect the Expos/National as my teams in baseball, the Saibts, Steelers and Cowboys for football, the Trailblazers, Spurs and Bulls for basketball, Red Wings for hockey and Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt Jr. For racing. These are my player collections which I am trying to get better built up:
Baseball:
Doug/ Kyle Drabek
Bobby Thigpen
Barry Bonda
Wade Boggs.
Don Mattingly
Cal Ripken Jr
Basketball:
Tim Duncan
David Robinson
Marcus Camby
Michael Finley
Michael Jordan
Clyde Drexler
Football:
Jim Everett
Jerome Bettis
Junior Seau
Sterling Sharpe
Trent Dilfer
Jake Plummer
Hockey:
Dominik Hasek
Felix Potvin
Joe Sakic
I know that's a loft but a good chunk were issued during the junk wax ers so they are very cheap most times. They will never be complete but no collection ever is so I get what I can and am happy with at.. The Nationals are getting better each game and are looking like contenders for e pennant like the Expos did before the strike in 1994. Any thoughts about what might have been back then and what is happening now in baseball, game wise?
Til next time,

New at this and an introduction
Hi ,
I am 44 and a husband with a four legged son who will sometimes watch games on tv with me.
I decided to put my collecting ideas on digital paper because maybe Someone can learn something from my collecting thoughts as I have from other bloggers. I have collected si cue I was a kid but up until about 1999 I had lost most of my cards and finally restarted in about August of 2000. I bought a pack of UD Legends at Walmart and ended up with an Alex Rodriguez auto bat card which at the time booked for$150 (way before the fiasco).
I have been working on the sets from my childhood and teenage yrs which are like 1971 (birth year) up to about 2000 and it will be the big manufacturers like Topps, Fleer, UD, Donruss. It is a daunting task but it is highly addictive and with me collecting my Expos/Nationals plus my other teams and my players like Doug Drabek, AndyVan Slyke, and Bobby Thigpen along with their kids, it keeps me busy. I am always trying to do trades because if I can't use it, maybe someone else might be able to and if not, I can donate them to somewhere. Tomorrow I will list my teams and players and soon I will be making a list of set needs. Hope to hear what people and other bloggers think of my new blog!
